FourJaw has expanded our award-winning manufacturing analytics platform with the addition of an energy monitoring capability, aimed at promoting sustainable manufacturing practices and reducing energy costs.
FourJaw’s plug-and-play analytics platform has been a huge success with manufacturers who use it to inform what processes can be improved to drive factory efficiencies and this latest addition comes off the back of listening to customer feedback as manufacturers look at ways to manage and offset the huge rise in energy costs seen in the last year.
The new feature provides real-time and historical insights into energy usage by machine, cell or factory, helping manufacturers understand their energy consumption better. With this knowledge, manufacturers will be able to implement measures to reduce energy costs and their carbon footprint, which when combined with the platform's existing productivity improvement capabilities is going to provide even greater value to manufacturers.
The energy monitoring function is available across all FourJaw subscriptions at no additional cost.
Robin Hartley-Willows, FourJaw Co-Founder and CTO commented...
“Looking at the economic conditions, rising energy costs, push and pull factors to become more sustainable, which attract government incentives for energy efficiency, we recognised reducing energy usage is a priority for many manufacturers.
“Driving efficient manufacturing processes is at the heart of FourJaw and we believe that by integrating energy monitoring within our existing machine monitoring platform, we can enable manufacturers to understand individual and overall manufacturing costs, by identifying where energy is wasted, and making informed decisions about processes and behaviours that will drive energy efficient and productive manufacturing.”
