Flow and Process Kaizen
Flow Kaizen and Process Kaizen are both part of continuous improvement but focus on different levels of improvement within a manufacturing or business system.
Flow Kaizen (System-Level Improvement) focuses on improving the overall movement of materials, information, and products across an entire value stream. Goals include; reducing lead time, eliminating bottlenecks, and creating smooth, waste-free production flow.
Process Kaizen (Workstation-Level Improvement) focuses on optimising individual tasks or processes within a workstation or production step. Its goal is to improve efficiency, quality, and ergonomics at the operator level.
