Digital transformation delivers value when it helps manufacturers solve real production problems. Understanding what has worked in another factory can be a useful starting point for deciding what to do in your own.

That is why FourJaw is proud to partner with MX.0 UK, a new manufacturer-led conference taking place in Sheffield on 1 and 2 December 2026. Hosted at Cutlers’ Hall and the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC), the event will bring manufacturing leaders together to share practical experiences of using technology to improve their operations.

Learning from manufacturers who have done it

MX.0 Media, the manufacturer-led community behind some of the US' fastest-growing Industry 4.0 events, is crossing the Atlantic to launch its first-ever UK event. The content-led conference will be hosted across Sheffield's historic Cutlers' Hall and the cutting-edge Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC).

Since 2017, MX.0 Media has connected manufacturing leaders across the US, including 3M, Airbus, Boeing, BMW, Mars, Eaton, GE Aerospace, Ford, Nestlé, Smurfit WestRock and Caterpillar, through events built on a simple idea: manufacturers learn best from other manufacturers. MX.0 UK brings that same peer-led format to the industrial heart of England for the first time, arriving as UK manufacturers navigate complex supply chains and a growing skills gap.

Supported by lead sponsor Siemens, the conference includes speakers from AstraZeneca, Smith+Nephew, Mars, Sertec, Johnson Matthey, Woodlands Home & Garden Group, Safran and Gousto.

For manufacturers considering their next investment, it is a chance to hear how others have approached implementation, engaged their teams and expanded digital initiatives across their businesses. Those conversations can help put your own priorities into perspective and highlight questions to ask before committing time and resources.

Turning digital investment into business impact

The first day takes place at Cutlers’ Hall on 1 December, with manufacturer case studies, discussions and networking.

The conference agenda covers everything from engaging the shop floor and boardroom alike to real-world case studies in building the data foundations needed to move past the pilot stage and leverage AI. Whether you're starting or scaling your digital transformation journey, you'll leave with the knowledge and network to move it forward.

Day two moves to the AMRC, where delegates get an exclusive look inside its Factory of the Future and Factory 2050, seeing robotics, automation and digital capability in action on the factory floor.

Seeing advanced manufacturing in action

On the morning of 2 December, delegates will visit the AMRC’s Factory of the Future and Factory 2050. The tours offer a closer look at machining and composites capabilities, alongside robotics, automation and digital technologies in a working manufacturing research environment.

Together, the conference and tours give attendees an opportunity to discuss the practicalities of change and see manufacturing technology in action.

Why FourJaw is supporting MX.0 UK

At FourJaw, we enable manufacturers to turn live shop-floor data into action. By making machine activity visible and capturing the reasons behind downtime, we help teams identify bottlenecks, uncover available capacity and prioritise improvements that support greater output and more reliable delivery.

That practical approach is why we are supporting MX.0 UK. We believe manufacturers benefit from sharing what they have learned, including the challenges along the way. As a Sheffield business, we are also pleased to see that conversation taking place in our home city.
