FourJaw Summer 2026 Product Update: Vol 6

Written by James Brook | Jul 15, 2026 12:49:16 PM

Our Summer 2026 product release brings two major improvements to FourJaw: a redesigned Work Order Management experience and new Production Quantity widgets.

Together, these updates make it easier to manage production plans, adapt when priorities change and monitor output in real time.

Whether you're scheduling work or tracking progress on the shop floor, you'll have greater visibility from the moment a work order is created through to the final product being produced.

What's new?

  • 01. Smarter Work Order Management

  • Status:  Available mid-August (keep an eye out for in-app announcements)

Get a peek into the new functionality by clicking on the below to open an interactive walkthrough in full-screen mode.

Our redesigned Work Order Management makes it easier to import, manage and update production schedules, ensuring the right work reaches the right operators, even when plans change.

  • Self-serve work order imports

    • Production planners can now import work orders themselves using a simple CSV upload, removing the need for support requests or engineering intervention.

    • Flexible column mapping allows you to use your own ERP export, while machine names only need mapping once before being remembered for future imports.

    • All you need is a CSV with headers and your work order information, and you can quickly ingest this data into Fourjaw and assign it to the right machines.

    • Don’t worry if your machine names aren’t consistent across your systems. You can still import them into Fourjaw, even if you have jobs with operations on machines we don’t currently monitor.

    • Our new version of work booking is built with API capabilities from the start. With some technical know-how, you can automate your CSVs into FourJaw, leaving manual clunky processes behind. We will be issuing some more information about the API capabilities shortly.

The result is a faster, simpler way to get production schedules into FourJaw.

  • Adapt quickly when production changes

    • Operators know what to work on now and next, no delays or confusion.

    • Updates made in the FourJaw web application are automatically reflected on operator tablets, helping ensure everyone is working from the latest production plan without relying on manual communication.

  • Greater visibility across production

    • Our simplified UX brings the information you need to the front and centre of your daily operations.

    • Supervisors and managers can see production progress alongside live machine data. See what’s in progress, what’s up next and what’s falling behind at a glance.

This provides a clearer picture of what's happening across the factory and helps teams identify delays before they become problems.

  • 02. See Production Output in Real Time

  • Status: Available now

Knowing what's planned is only half the picture. You also need to know what's actually being produced.

That's why we've introduced a new suite of Production Quantity dashboard widgets, giving manufacturers live visibility of production output, quality and progress throughout the shift.

Available to customers using Part Count, these dashboards transform production data into live operational insight.

  • Monitor output against target

    • The new Production Quantity Trend widget displays good parts, scrap quantities, cumulative production and target lines over time.

Whether you're monitoring today's shift or reviewing longer-term performance, it's easy to see whether production is on track and identify issues before the end of the day.

  • Compare machine performance

    • The new Production Quantity by Asset widget compares production output and scrap across every monitored machine.

By viewing performance side by side, production teams can quickly identify variations, investigate issues and focus improvement efforts where they'll have the biggest impact.

  • Live production progress

We've also enhanced the Live Machines widget.

Each machine now displays its live production count alongside its work order target, allowing operators, supervisors, and managers to see progress in real time.

Combined with configurable quantity targets, everyone has a clear view of whether production is keeping pace with the plan.

These two updates are designed to work together.

Work Order Management helps you plan, organise and adapt production as priorities change.

Production Quantity dashboards show whether those plans are being delivered in real time.

Together, they reduce manual administration, improve communication across production teams and give manufacturers the visibility they need to make faster, better-informed decisions throughout the day. For more information about the updates, please head to our Knowledge Base or contact your Customer Success Manager.

As always, we’d love your feedback as these features roll out.

A peek at what's coming next...

  • Operator tablets - Improved job visibility

  • Status: Coming Autumn/Fall 2026

Operators shouldn't waste time wondering what to work on next or accidentally booking onto the wrong work order.

That's why our Autumn release introduces a redesigned Work Order Management experience on the Operator tablet, making it easier to get the right jobs in front of the right operators, adapt production plans as priorities change, and keep the shop floor moving.
