We've made the shortlist for the Engineering & Manufacturing Awards 2024.
Our technology and its positive impact on the UK manufacturing industry has been shortlisted in two categories at this year's awards.
The first category we have been shortlisted for is 'Manufacturing Productivity Improvement', our submission showed the impact our technology is having on manufacturers across the UK and in this instance, the work we have done with Hydrafeed, a leading manufacturer of automation equipment for CNC applications and a sub-contract supplier to the aerospace industry. Our technology was used by Hydrafeed and enabled them to improve machine productivity by 30%.
The Engineering & Manufacturing Awards describes the 'Manufacturing Productivity Improvement' category as:
Improving UK manufacturing productivity will be key if the sector is to continue to compete on the global stage. This award celebrates the teams and individuals who have made a demonstrable improvement to their site’s productivity, either through the application of technology or the improvement of existing processes.
The second category we have been shortlisted for is 'Manufacturing Technology Innovation', this award is to recognise innovative technology that is having a tangible impact within the manufacturing industry. Our entry showcased how our technology helps solve real-world challenges for manufacturers, demonstrating the commercial and environmental impact our technology has for more than 130 manufacturers who use it each day to make their factories more productive.
The Engineering & Manufacturing Awards describes the 'Manufacturing Technology Innovation' category as:
From the deployment of additive manufacturing techniques and robotic systems to the smart use of machine tools, the innovative application of production equipment is key to making the UK manufacturing base more nimble, more productive and more efficient. This award celebrates teams or projects that demonstrate an outstanding application of manufacturing technology.
The Engineering and Manufacturing awards happen thanks to five of the biggest publishing brands that showcase the manufacturing sector, The Engineer UK, Eureka, Manufacturing Management, MACHINERY and New Electronics, each year they come together to amplify and celebrate the achievements of engineers of all disciplines and manufacturing of all types.
